Planned Practice This Weekend

A practice at my house is planned for this Saturday November 4th from 11AM to 3PM to begin Christmas songs. It's important that Steel, The Show and Plenty Problems members of each drum attend. The time is adjustable, and you should come even if you can't stay the whole time. Call me or someone close to you if you don't have a ride.
Lunch will be provided.

A Sunday practice will probably take place also later in the afternoon. Directions are easy if you know Magnolia's restaurant in Ocean View. It's a right before it on Hickman Road and a left at the bend ; my name is on the mail box post.PLease look at the last posting below for upcoming events.

Sea Witch-The Last Weekend Performance Until November 25th, But...

We may be having a practice at my house on Election Day, Tuesday November 7th
We will be playing at North Georgetown Elementary on Wednesday, November 8th in the evening. We will have an after school performance that day until 5PM
We will be performing at Return Day in Georgetown Thursday November 9th in the circle at Noon and at the train station at 3PM.
We may have some other weekend or after school practices so we can get the CD done.
Remember that we are doing a benefit at Bethany Beach fire hall on November 25th, Thanksgiving weekend Some of you have not let me know yet whether or not you are going.

Plenty Problems and Elvis

Thanks to all the members who participated Friday and Saturday. We sounded great.
Sea Witch is on the Rehoboth Bandstand this Saturday at 6:15 so be there at 5:45PM or my house at 5:15PM. We'll play till 7PM.

Spaghetti Dinner ?

SDSA is having their spaghetti dinner Friday night(Tonight) from 5-7PM. I said we might play a week ago, but didn't hear back until Thursday. If you were planning to go for the dinner, hopefully you'd be willing to play. If you weren't but would like to go, comment as soon as you read this.

Don't forget the shows this weekend. Milford should end (packed and on the road) by 3PM.

Light The Night- Saturday night

Light the night registration is from 5PM to 7PM. Will we set up just before 5PM; I am leaving with the bus at 4:30 from my house.Polos ann Khakis will be worn. Several SDSA Steel, The Show members should be coming, so try to help them out.We will play till 7:00 with a short break in between. You may walk; I'll wait with the bus. As mentioned before, this is in front of the Henlopen Hotel at the north end of the Rehoboth boardwalk.

October 21st is also a Steel, The Show and Plenty Problems event on the Rehoboth bandstand-Downes 5K. Set up is 8:45AM to play at 9:30.You may want to consider running the race, but I don't know race details. Polos/khakis

This same day we play at Abbott's mill for their festival in Milford. We'll leave on the bus from Rehoboth sometime around 11:00. Play time is 1:00PM. Polos/khakis

The Sea Witch Festival at the Rehoboth bandstand is Saturday October 28th at 6:15PM. I'll leave my house at 5:30 to unload close to 6:00. Polos/Khakis. A Steel, The Show and Plenty Problems performance.

Please check on your Thanksgiving plans.We will be playing from 4-7PM November 25th at the Bethany Beach fire hall. This is a fundraising event for family dealing with the death of the father from a fire accident.

December 4th and 12th are two Plenty Problems out of school performances.

Tonight's wedding reception is still on, but has been moved to Roxanna Fire hall-route 26 to route 17 south. Left at the Roxanna light and the station is on the left.
Times and uniform are still the same.

SUNDAY-DIRECTIONS-Route 24 east to Long Neck Rd.(route 5), take a right( Wilmington Trust). tAKE A LEFT Seafarers Village(across from mini-golf. Follow around past the motel and Creeks End along Teal Drive bearing left. 158 Teal Dr.,a grey house in front of the pond.
Sunday's performance is on unless it rains. I will be called tomorrow at 1:00PM for confirmation. Leaving my house at 1:45, set up at 2:30PM, and play from 3-4:30PM
