Performances Tuesday , Wednesday, and Friday

Those going to Harrington tomorrow should get to my house by 1:00PM. I will stop in Georgetown Mcdonald's at 1:40PM. We play at 3:00 to 3:45, and again at 6:00-6:45. Passes will be provided so that you can check things out between shows. We won't be able to leave until 7:30PM due to a parade.Polos and Khakis.

Wednesday at the Bethany Chamber of Commerce in Fenwick is a small band-one bass, one cello, one guitar, one tenor, and probably just percussion, no drum set. Who wants to play?

Friday I'm taking six jugglers back to Harrington, leaving my house around 12:00AM
Khakis and juggling shirts.

Practice with Tom Clark tomorrow, performance for all Saturday

We will be working hopefully on Red Red Wine and Brown Eyed Girl tomorrow, Friday the 21st. Tom is a drummer and pan player from Salisbury who is willing to help. It looks like people are finding rides; thanks a lot.

Saturday's performance is open to all.Khakis and Hawaiian shirts. Take route 26 in Dagsboro west (off 113)past the Allen's Hatchery. Turn right on Gum Rd. You will see Miss Amanda's house from the road-a sandtone color with a green roof. Turn right at the stop sign on Molly Field road to her house . There is a big pond in front. This is from 4-8PM. If we coordinate this right, some people could play 4 to 6, and others from 6 to 8; you would have to talk with those who play your pan. We can discuss this at practice. Two steel drum and one juggling performance next week.

Thanks for cleaning the drums today; you did great!

This band is operating under the direction of Plenty Problems Entertainment this summer. Therefore, if you have a problem you should call me, not the SDSA principal. If you do not wish to participate with Plenty Problems, but want to remain in the School Band, "Steel,The Show" at SDSA next year, that is fine; However, summer participants will get first choices in performances and our Trinidad trip next year.
As of 7/17/06, let it be known that no current SDSA student is receiving "paid wages", but rather will receive rewards in pan equipment,PP merchandise, free education, and credit towards Trinidad 2007.Any cash rewards would depend on the situation; i.e., money for food, admissions, etc.
