PRACTICE FRIDAY FROM 10AM TO 1PM AND WEEKEND PERFORMANCES

We need a practice Friday for Steel The Show students at SDSA so they can learn the new songs from Plenty Problem members no longer at SDSA.Call if you need a ride please.Call anyone you can who hasn't been coming, otherwise why have practice?
Actually we will be learning a new song too.

SATURDAY- I'll be taking drums to 57th street for a 6:30-8:30PM performance late afternoon before heading over to set up in Bishopville for the 5-8PM performance.
People going to O.C. can either meet me in Bishopville at 5:00PM or at 57th street at 6:15PM. O.C. players are: Timmy, Daniel,Steven or Maurice, and Smith or Ryan. Polos and Khakis

Everyone else needs to be at Bishopville at 4:30PM which is the 2nd house on the right off Bishopville Rd.Bishopville Rd. is a left off 113 just over the DE./MD. line
Hawaiian and Khakis.

SUNDAY- Sea Colony Edgewater House from 9AM-12NOON. Anyone can be there at 8:30AM-polos and Khakis.

Fenwick town Park(by town hall on route 1)5:30PM-6:30PM.Anyone can be there at 5PM-polos and Khakis. We could plan a get together between these two performances?-think about it

END OF WEEK UPDATE FOR PERFORMANCES AND PRACTICES

There is no practice Thursday due to performances. Those performing in fenwick will be at the oceanside house on the highway right by the DE./MD. line under the billboard; it's next to NV homes. The drums will be set up, so you don't need to be there until 4:45 to play from 5-7PM.Those playing are Timmy, Marissa, Ben, Dillon, and Smith.Polos and Khakis.

Those going to Princess Anne are Jung, Alex, Molly, Zach, Aaron, Kyle, Courtney, and Mitch. Anyone else who wants to go needs to call-542-1901; Double Seconds??.We need to leave from my house at 3PM to stop in Fenwick to drop off drums. Polos and Khakis. We play from 5:30-7:30PM and should be back at my house around 9:30PM.

There IS practice Friday starting at 10AM-2PM to finish up songs for our CD; we need cello players and double seconds to show up please or steel the show will be really in trouble.

SATURDAY WEDDING. We will be leaving my house at 4:00PM to go to Williamsville: Heading east on Rt. 54 turn right after the curve in Williamsville on Williamsville Rd., bearing right past Bayside Americana onto De. St. and onto Rolly road.We play at 5:10 to 5:55, do the wedding march and one more set after that. We are done around 7:00PM and back at my house at 7:30PM. ALL BLACK. If you want to go and have not come to practice, you need to call first. 542-1901

The bus leaves Saturday for Seaford at 11:00AM for a Masonic celebration at the Ross Mansion:
Rt. 13 N to Herring Rd. left (west) at the Wilmington Trust Bank. Cross the 1st light past 13A Bridgeville Hwy to the next stop sign, and take a left onto Ross Station Rd. It is the 1st house on the left.Hawaiians and Khakis. Bring a towel and change of clothes.We'll leave Seaford at 3:30PM.

Tuesday, August 15th Practice and Performance

Practice will be cut a little short Tuesday-11AM 1:30PM;I have to be somewhere. Wednesday and Thursday will be 11AM-2PM. Please come. (If you haven't, from rt 113, take rt 26 from dagsboro towards Bethany, go left or north at the Ocean View light and turn before Magnolia's Restaurant onto Hickman road; gravel drive and mail boxes with my name on the left)

One more show at the Village of Fenwick from 7-9PM Tuesday night, leaving my house at 6:10PM;Khakis and Polos

Saturday August 12 Performance 4-5PM, Cupula Park Millsboro

Polos and Khakis for anyone wishing to play at Millsboro's "Big Thursday" (on Saturday)celebration.The bus leaves at 3PM and returns at 6/6:30PM.
There will be several practices next week from 11:00-2:00, so plan now for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Two Performances Tomorrow-Wednesday August 9th

Safe Kid's Day takes place tomorrow at Sussex Tech High School from 9:00AM to 11:30 and lunch provided afterwards. It would great if more of the Millsboro/ Georgetown people could attend. The bus leaves my house at 7:30AM to set up at 830AM on the Sussex tech stadium field;we'll be under a tent. Hawaiians/Khakis

The Garden's Celebration takes place at Baywood Greens Golf Course off Rt. 24 from 6:00PM-8:30PM east of Long Neck. Again we hope that more people in that area will attend.Polos/Khakis

What to do between shows??? Ocean view/ Selbyville area people could just go home and return, or we could stay in the area to practice and play. Is there anyone in the Georgetown/ Millsboro area willing to host us for awhile??- preferably with a pool?? Let us know.

Saturday 4-5PM Millsboro Big Thursday Celebration at Cupula Park

Three performances this weekend

Saturday from 10-2 is at the Rehoboth Car Wash on N. Rt 1 to play as a fund raiser for ourselves, not to wash cars.Money raised may very well go towards our new CD at the end of this month. I'll leave with the bus at 9AM. Hawaiian and Khakis, but wear a white tee shirt if it gets too hot.

Right after the carwash, some people may leave, but I'll need about eight to play at the Henlopen hotel on the eighth floor for a wedding reception from 3:30-5PM-wear black.

Sunday I will leave my house at 11:00AM to set up and start playing soon after 11:30AM for the Prince George's Annual Ice Cream Festival. All members and their families are encouraged to support this event and tour the chapel. Located at rt.26 and Armory Rd. in Dagsboro, we will be done by 2PM. Polos and Khakis. Thanks
