Here again is the itinerary with a couple additions for what should be another excellent trip.
Also, there is great news. We will be starting a new phase for the band in the spring with a native Trinidad arranger . This should be a fresh change for the next stage of Plenty Problems. We're even getting another bus this summer.

Trinidad Itinerary
Saturday January 26th- Leaving Hickman's Liquor store(by my house) 5:30AM. Cars can be left at my house Gene's Limo-Shuttle Bus to airport: Departing Delta 739 BWI@ 10:59AM arriving Atlanta 12:55PM,Delta 221 departing ATL @2:50PM arriving Tobago 8:31PM- group has transfers included from the airport to the hotel-Turtle Beach byRex-south Tobago.Hopefully we will get settled at the hotel by 10PM.We have 6 triple rooms.
Sunday 27th- Relax on the beach and nearby- don't burn. Possible late afternoon touring.
Monday 28th- Tour other parts of the island with MaxiTaxi- We have our driver Allen from last year. Hopefully a dinner out.
Tuesday 29th-morning on the beach.Late afternoon transport to ferry. 2 hour ride to Trinidad.Maxi Taxi to San Fernando-Aksent Villa.
Wednesday 30 - Settle in, shopping, and walk around San Fernando.Possible evening trip to Port of Spain for SmallBand/single Pan Finals
Thursday 31- Time in San Fernando, and with GoldenHands;visit a panyard
Friday 1st-Possible trip to northeast beach of Toco;evening panyards.
Saturday 2nd- P of S morning Jr. Carnival. EveningPanorama finals at Skinner Park
Sunday 3rd- Practice with Golden Hands
Monday 4th- Juvert Parade early morning. Possible parading with Golden Hands.
Tuesday 5th-Delta 350 departing Port Of Spain 8:30AM arriving JFK@ 12:50PMDelta 5052 leaving JFK 2:30PM arriving BWI @ 3:54PM.Gene's Limo back to Ocean View-8-9PM.
Suggestions: Travel light and be prepared for summer-like weather- 11 degrees north latitude. There are lots of ATM's for cash. I can hold money for some. Those adults who have not paid in full should decide whether to pay before we go or have cash readily available there. We will buy groceries for the group and cook ourselves most meals.Secure money carefully. A fold upcamping/beach chair may work real well this trip.We can rent cell phones where we will be staying fairly cheap in Trinidad- Tobago I don't know. Make at least one copy of your passport just in case. Aksentvilla has a washer/dryer. ____________________________________________________________________________________
